I did not find it hard to meet people to date, I found it hard to meet the caliber of person I was looking for.
A friend of mine found it hard to meet people and convinced me to go with him as moral support.

Tom says I married him because he feeds me (he loves to cook), and while that isn't the primary reason, his good cooking certainly didn't hurt!
At the end of the event, I had actually become friends with the woman on the left and right of me (they happened to be best friends) and after afterward, I invited them to dinner.
Justin was standing off to the side and I asked him to come to dinner with us and he was very happy to do so. The four of us arrive at a local restaurant and Justin sits next to me.
Tom arrived at my table with potato skins and asked it I would like one.
